Spectators: 7509 (Terracing: 5632, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Paulão Veiga took the kick off in the first half of the match. 9 minutes into the game, Paulão Veiga recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jeronimo Abaurre. Paulão Veiga showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Edu Bertassi fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carrossel Caipira's protests and gave Edu Bertassi a yellow card for diving instead. Jeronimo Abaurre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olavo Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Edu Bertassi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnaldo Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Vladimiro Naldo hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Jeronimo Abaurre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulão Veiga went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Laurendi in the 39th minute of play forced Carrossel Caipira's goalkeeper Olívio Sanches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 minutes, Mauricio Bieito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the chacarita1969 and the Carrossel Caipira players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th match minute, chacarita1969 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Bieito to maneuver through the defense. João Pedro Vieira hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Olívio Sanches stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladimiro Naldo's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vladimiro Naldo to strike the kick off in the second half. Adrian Laurendi took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olívio Sanches. Olívio Sanches dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After 55 minutes, Renato de Queiroz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carrossel Caipira and the chacarita1969 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Carrossel Caipira's Renato de Queiroz got a free kick in the 55th minute. Carrossel Caipira's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Vladimiro Naldo scored to the left of an out of position Olívio Sanches, making the score, 2-2. Adrian Laurendi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Olívio Sanches made a huge save. When Arnaldo Abreu fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carrossel Caipira's protests and gave Arnaldo Abreu a yellow card for diving instead. After 70 played minutes Carrossel Caipira got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Abreu. After 71 minutes of play, chacarita1969's Donato Rufo made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olívio Sanches was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teodoro Romelio hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Jeronimo Abaurre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulão Veiga in the 75th minute of the match. In the 79th match minute, chacarita1969 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Laurendi to maneuver through the defense. When Paulão Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Carrossel Caipira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulão Veiga couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in chacarita1969's zone, Renato Abreu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeronimo Abaurre came out of the goal and Renato Abreu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olívio Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Naldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Olívio Sanches was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adrian Laurendi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 89 minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Carrossel Caipira's goalkeeper Olívio Sanches had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrian Laurendi. chacarita1969's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
