FC Truseni's Vadim Macovei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anfilogino Traini in the 10th minute of play. If Anfilogino Traini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Concetto Bani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tudor Tãrâtã, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 played minutes Calenzano got a freekick which was hit by Fortunato Pugliese. In the 25th minute of the match Ruslan Cretu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Concetto Bani skillfully saved the ball. When Emilian Vârtosu fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Truseni's protests and gave Emilian Vârtosu a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Calenzano's zone, Ruslan Cretu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Concetto Bani came out of the goal and Ruslan Cretu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Calenzano's Amos Walcher got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amos Walcher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vadim Macovei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amos Walcher, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After 50 played minutes FC Truseni got a freekick which was hit by Ruslan Cretu. Alvaro Aloisi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Vadim Macovei 51 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute Calenzano were awarded a corner. Anfilogino Traini went to the cornerflag to take it. Daniel Stângã's late challenge caught a Calenzano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Stângã helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Truseni's Daniel Stângã got a free kick in the 75th minute. Concetto Bani came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Truseni's Tudor Tãrâtã. But to his dismay, Tudor Tãrâtã quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 81 minutes into the match, Calenzano's goal looked a bit too open when Tudor Tãrâtã came free, but Concetto Bani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fulvio Mascia was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of FC Truseni booed when Calenzano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulvio Mascia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Concetto Bani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tudor Fratea went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. When Anfilogino Traini came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Calenzano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anfilogino Traini couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute, Amos Walcher made a precise shot to the right of Vadim Macovei. FC Truseni's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. After 95 minutes, Tudor Fratea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Truseni and the Calenzano players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Truseni's Tudor Fratea got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Calenzano supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Calenzano would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
