The referee ignored Juventudes Libertárias's protests and gave Alexandre Zurawski a yellow card for diving instead. Patrick Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davi Amorim having to interfere. Davi Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Galvão in the 6th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cestarolli FC's Tiago Aparecido got a free kick in the 8th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Walmir Valle during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Davi Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmir Valle in the 12th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes Cestarolli FC got a freekick which was hit by Walmir Valle. Josué Tavares struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Laércio de Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventudes Libertárias. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Laércio de Almeida successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 27th minute Juventudes Libertárias were awarded a corner. Paulo Renato Maciel went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Juventudes Libertárias's Luizão Sarmento got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute, Luís Meirelles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Cestarolli FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Zurawski came free, but Laércio de Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cestarolli FC's Laércio de Almeida proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Cestarolli FC from getting a goal against them. Juventudes Libertárias's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Paulo Renato Maciel in the 35th minute. The corner led Juventudes Libertárias's Paulo Renato Maciel to fire away a dangerous shot which Laércio de Almeida despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tiago Aparecido hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Laércio de Almeida. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

56 minutes into the game, Luís Meirelles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juventudes Libertárias's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cestarolli FC the free kick. Laércio de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Meirelles in the 59th minute of the match. In the 64th minute, André Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Cestarolli FC's zone, Paulo Renato Maciel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laércio de Almeida came out of the goal and Paulo Renato Maciel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Flávio Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cestarolli FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Flávio Gomes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Davi Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Juventudes Libertárias booed when Cestarolli FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Munhoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Juventudes Libertárias's Josué Tavares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laércio de Almeida made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Josué Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Juventudes Libertárias's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
