Laércio de Almeida made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo Enmanuel in the 33rd minute. Rodrigo Enmanuels short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Laércio de Almeida to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 34th minute Bernardino Baumer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laércio de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Munhoz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2.
