The Mitnarotov FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Décio Pinto should have stopped the shot. Sérgio da Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Juventudes Libertárias's Davi Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Luz in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the game, Alexandre Zurawski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juventudes Libertárias's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mitnarotov FC the free kick. In the 8th match minute, Juventudes Libertárias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Zurawski to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute of the match, Fred Luz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Davi Amorim saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Fred Luz struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Davi Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mitnarotov FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Luz in the 20th minute of play forced Juventudes Libertárias's goalkeeper Davi Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Tony Proença put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Décio Pinto. Conrado Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davi Amorim having to interfere. Davi Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Gaúcho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Conrado Gaúcho in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Davi Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Davi Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Luz in the 32nd minute of the match. After 32 minutes of play, Mitnarotov FC's Fred Luz made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Davi Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th minute Fred Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davi Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Juventudes Libertárias's Waldir Aguiar got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 41st minute, Fred Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Luís Meirelles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Décio Pinto made a huge save. Juventudes Libertárias's Davi Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Gaúcho in the 57th minute of play. Davi Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 71st minute Fred Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davi Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Conrado Gaúcho in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Davi Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rolando Pinto's late challenge caught a Juventudes Libertárias's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rolando Pinto helped the player get up and apologised. Rolando Pinto hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The Mitnarotov FC fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Mitnarotov FC's Conrado Gaúcho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 83 minutes into the match, Mitnarotov FC's Conrado Gaúcho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Davi Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fred Luz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Davi Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute Conrado Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davi Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juventudes Libertárias's Davi Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Luz in the 89th minute of play. Fred Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Davi Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fred Luz in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Davi Amorim saved Juventudes Libertárias from getting behind. Mitnarotov FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
