After a defensive mix-up in Hisings Kärra RK's zone, Vincent Molin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Staffan Törnqvist came out of the goal and Vincent Molin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sten Skark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivar Vallengren in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivar Vallengren in the 20th minute of play forced Norrlands Athen's goalkeeper Sten Skark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Norrlands Athen's goal looked a bit too open when Helge Glad came free, but Sten Skark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Bengt-Arne Harman made a precise shot to the right of Sten Skark. Norrlands Athen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Arne Harman in the 41st minute of play forced Norrlands Athen's goalkeeper Sten Skark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Norrlands Athen defense, Helge Glad kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sten Skark. The Norrlands Athen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sten Skark should have stopped the shot. The Norrlands Athen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hisings Kärra RK were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Helge Glad stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Staffan Törnqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sivert Bolin in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th match minute, Norrlands Athen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Magnus Fastesson to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute of the match Mark Hellgren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sten Skark showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 61st match minute, Hisings Kärra RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivar Vallengren to maneuver through the defense. Karl-Magnus Fastesson charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Magnus Fastesson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th minute, Karl-Magnus Fastesson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hisings Kärra RK's Mark Hellgren got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Rune Falkrans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kent Backman lost his temper 93 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Mark Hellgren placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The Norrlands Athen fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hisings Kärra RK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
