Spectators: 7647 (Terracing: 5737, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Isac Prestes started the match with the kick off. Isac Prestes scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eloy Polentzi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 8 played minutes Copérnico F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Ponciano. 10 minutes into the match, Copérnico F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Isac Prestes came free, but Eloy Polentzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norberto Falcão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Cisco in the 12th minute of play. Egídio Bacelar charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Egídio Bacelar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Terceirense F.C. getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Egídio Bacelar hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Ponciano in the 19th minute of play forced Terceirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Norberto Falcão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Egídio Bacelar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Terceirense F.C.'s Baltasar Saraiva got a free kick in the 24th minute. The supporters of Copérnico F.C. booed when Terceirense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egídio Bacelar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Norberto Falcão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Ponciano in the 27th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anacleto Cisco during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anacleto Cisco kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of Copérnico F.C. booed when Terceirense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saturnino Eudoxio kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Norberto Falcão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Terceirense F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Copérnico F.C. were winning 1-2.

Baltasar Saraiva hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Arnoldo Sergi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 minutes of play, Terceirense F.C.'s Isac Prestes made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eloy Polentzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Norberto Falcão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Ponciano in the 64th minute of the match. Jose Semeno hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Terceirense F.C.'s Isac Prestes got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Norberto Falcão made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Anacleto Ponciano sent off a good shot on target. In the 75th minute, Isac Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnoldo Sergi charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnoldo Sergi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Copérnico F.C.'s Arnoldo Sergi got a free kick in the 79th minute. Terceirense F.C.'s Alexandre Vasconcelos suffered a concussion in the 82nd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Saturnino Eudoxio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Terceirense F.C. booed when Copérnico F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Sergi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute Isac Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Polentzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Isac Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Copérnico F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Terceirense F.C..
