In the 2nd minute, Nils-Åke Ahlfors hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, KS Zgredy's Zenon Wojton tried to score from far away in the 3rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ingemar Dahlman's late challenge caught a KS Zgredy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ingemar Dahlman helped the player get up and apologised. Dawid Zgonina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingemar Dahlman in the 10th minute of play. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Iwo Laba sped through FK Ekebo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Philip Mattsson. 26 minutes into the match, FK Ekebo's goal looked a bit too open when Iwo Laba came free, but Philip Mattsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 played minutes FK Ekebo got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Åke Ahlfors. After a rather tough play, FK Ekebo's Nils-Åke Ahlfors got a free kick in the 29th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Zenon Wojton managed to get in a good position for a shot. KS Zgredy's supporters rose to their feet, but Zenon Wojton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Philip Mattsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute Andréas Ivarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dawid Zgonina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Klement Brodzki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Philip Mattsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Philip Mattsson made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Sylwester Cholewa sent off a good shot on target. Philip Mattsson was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Sylwester Cholewa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sylwester Cholewa really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Joel Västerberg made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Iwo Laba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KS Zgredy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK Ekebo the free kick. In the 53rd match minute, KS Zgredy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iwo Laba to maneuver through the defense. FK Ekebo's Philip Mattsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomil Radziszewski in the 58th minute of play. Philip Mattsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomil Radziszewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute Edmund Pietrowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Mattsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Radomil Radziszewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
