After some careless play in the Albirex Niigata FC defense, Atabek Akkoyun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Chuan. The Albirex Niigata FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Chuan should have stopped the shot. Gerard Hoe kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Berkan Eğilmez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mujahid Teo went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42 booed when Albirex Niigata FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mujahid Teo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Albirex Niigata FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. John Cho hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Albirex Niigata FC's Afriz Hian ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Berkan Eğilmez. Berkan Eğilmez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Daniel Chuan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ziya Onur Yıldız in the 28th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Albirex Niigata FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aşkın Acar came free, but Daniel Chuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mujahid Teo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Berkan Eğilmez made a huge save. 34 minutes into the match, BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's goalkeeper Berkan Eğilmez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mujahid Teo. Daniel Chuan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ziya Onur Yıldız in the 36th minute of the match. Daniel Chuan came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's Veysel Tekke. But to his dismay, Veysel Tekke quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 41st minute, Veysel Tekke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Daniel Chuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ziya Onur Yıldız, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ziya Onur Yıldız made a kick off. In the 51st minute Ziya Onur Yıldız shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Chuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, John Cho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Berkan Eğilmez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wei Xuan Chandran scored 4-4 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Berkan Eğilmez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 69th match minute, Albirex Niigata FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerard Hoe to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Ziya Onur Yıldız took a quick shot and it went in 4-6 without a chance for Daniel Chuan to make any attempt to save it. Berkan Eğilmez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wei Xuan Chandran, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Berkan Eğilmez came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Albirex Niigata FC's Afriz Hian. But to his dismay, Afriz Hian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-6. Berkan Eğilmez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Afriz Hian went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-6 was the resulting score. BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's Berkan Eğilmez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mujahid Teo in the 93rd minute of play. Alexander Tan took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Berkan Eğilmez. Berkan Eğilmez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-7. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
