Sinforiano Veloso's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Norberto Falcão firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Soucar FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Diego Contreras hit a great ball. When Matias Frois fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Terceirense F.C.'s protests and gave Matias Frois a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes Terceirense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Matias Frois. With a little luck, Terceirense F.C.'s Norberto Falcão got control of the ball when Sinforiano Veloso tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute, Rogelio Cano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aimar Villa was the one to do the kick off. Egídio Bacelar's late challenge caught a Soucar FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Egídio Bacelar helped the player get up and apologised. Egídio Bacelar hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. When Rogelio Cano fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soucar FC's protests and gave Rogelio Cano a yellow card for diving instead. Aimar Villa kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Norberto Falcão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sinforiano Veloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. With a little luck, Soucar FC's Eloy Mangas got control of the ball when Américo Mafra tried to sneak it across the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Américo Mafra notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Soucar FC's Eloy Mangas. Eloy Mangas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Terceirense F.C.'s Norberto Falcão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xinto Abrego in the 69th minute of play. Norberto Falcão came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Soucar FC's Aimar Villa. But to his dismay, Aimar Villa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 80 minutes into the match, Soucar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Américo Mafra came free, but Eloy Mangas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Soucar FC's Sinforiano Veloso got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 87th match minute, Soucar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xinto Abrego to maneuver through the defense. Norberto Falcão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sinforiano Veloso in the 96th minute of play. The Terceirense F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Terceirense F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
