Spectators: 7652 (Terracing: 5741, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Teodosio Aritza started the match with the kick off. Maurício Gueifão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Hermengildo Licerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, La Vieja Guarida FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isac Prestes came free, but Hermengildo Licerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Terceirense F.C.'s Egídio Bacelar got a free kick in the 10th minute. After having played for 12 minutes, Teodosio Aritza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Vieja Guarida FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodosio Aritza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 13 minutes, Normando Conde mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Terceirense F.C. and the La Vieja Guarida FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th minute, Normando Conde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Terceirense F.C.'s Norberto Falcão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Dominix in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Garin in the 18th minute of play forced Terceirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Norberto Falcão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to La Vieja Guarida FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Gualterio Azibar hit a great ball. Baltasar Saraiva, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. La Vieja Guarida FC's Hermengildo Licerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egídio Bacelar in the 29th minute of play. After a rather tough play, La Vieja Guarida FC's Gualterio Azibar got a free kick in the 30th minute. Hermengildo Licerio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Baltasar Saraiva. 40 minutes into the match, Terceirense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Aritza came free, but Norberto Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Terceirense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Garin came free, but Norberto Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pablo Quintun hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isac Prestes to make the kick off. Norberto Falcão acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 52nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Carlos Lidon. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isac Prestes in the 55th minute of play forced La Vieja Guarida FC's goalkeeper Hermengildo Licerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, La Vieja Guarida FC's Norberto Falcão threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wilfredo Garin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Pablo Quintun got his second yellow card in the match during the 60th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 61st match minute, La Vieja Guarida FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Quintun to maneuver through the defense. When Isac Prestes fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Terceirense F.C.'s protests and gave Isac Prestes a yellow card for diving instead. La Vieja Guarida FC made a substitution. Elpidio Munio replaced Gaudencio Valente. Isac Prestes hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the game, Carlos Lidon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Norberto Falcão. Carlos Lidon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in La Vieja Guarida FC's zone, David Aveiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermengildo Licerio came out of the goal and David Aveiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Aveiro kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After 88 played minutes La Vieja Guarida FC got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Azibar. 93 minutes into the match, Isac Prestes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hermengildo Licerio. La Vieja Guarida FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isac Prestes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
