Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gregorio Hulberto kicked off to start the match. Bernardino Ignazio made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Ion Africano sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anton Păun during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of CF JABATOS booed when Phoenix Strikers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ion Africano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Phoenix Strikers's Eduard Boroș got a free kick in the 12th minute. Phoenix Strikers's Johnny Visch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Tirso in the 13th minute of play. CF JABATOS's Bernardino Ignazio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save CF JABATOS from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Gregorio Hulberto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Johnny Visch was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isac Spirea during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 23 minutes into the game, Cazimir Ceaușu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Phoenix Strikers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CF JABATOS the free kick. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Phoenix Strikers! Thanks to some nice moves Ion Africano could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Bernardino Ignazio however easily saved by the left post. After 30 minutes of play Phoenix Strikers's Anton Păun was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Anton Păun kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Johnny Visch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Tirso, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 32nd minute, Eduard Boroș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardino Ignazio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduard Boroș in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Traian Eremia made the kick off in the second half. If Adolfo Ferran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 52 played minutes Phoenix Strikers got a freekick which was hit by Traian Eremia. Costin Dobrițoiu might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardino Ignazio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Costin Dobrițoiu ran back to his position shaking his head. 57 minutes into the match, Phoenix Strikers's goalkeeper Johnny Visch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gregorio Hulberto. The supporters of CF JABATOS booed when Phoenix Strikers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Traian Eremia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute, Traian Eremia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Phoenix Strikers's Traian Eremia got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of CF JABATOS booed when Phoenix Strikers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduard Boroș didn't get a good kick on the ball. Phoenix Strikers's Johnny Visch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Phoenix Strikers from getting a goal against them. Traian Eremia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to CF JABATOS getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Jacobo Txanton hit a great ball. Aristide Pârlea was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 86th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Gregorio Hulberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Johnny Visch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. CF JABATOS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
