Erling Bergfelt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 顾卫彬 took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erling Bergfelt. Erling Bergfelt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Gnesta Oilers's Sven-Åke Gadd pulled a muscle in his back after 26 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a rather tough play, 【AC】骑士's 傅默勇 got a free kick in the 27th minute. After some careless play in the Gnesta Oilers defense, 柯诚树 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erling Bergfelt. The Gnesta Oilers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erling Bergfelt should have stopped the shot. Dag Törnqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but 陶飞瑜 made a huge save. In the 37th minute 傅默勇 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erling Bergfelt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by 傅默勇 in the 39th minute of play forced Gnesta Oilers's goalkeeper Erling Bergfelt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in 【AC】骑士's zone, Dag Törnqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 陶飞瑜 came out of the goal and Dag Törnqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Gnesta Oilers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. 【AC】骑士 were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 柯诚树 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 柯诚树 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 【AC】骑士's 蔡城强 got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erling Bergfelt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 顾卫彬, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Erling Bergfelt made an important save on a dangerous shot by 傅默勇 in the 56th minute. A collision led to 【AC】骑士 getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. 傅默勇 hit a great ball. In the 58th minute Jim Bratt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 陶飞瑜 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th match minute, 【AC】骑士 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 傅希奕 to maneuver through the defense. 陶飞瑜 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jim Bratt in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute, 【AC】骑士's 傅默勇 dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Erling Bergfelt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 顾卫彬's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Gnesta Oilers's Erling Bergfelt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 傅默勇 in the 75th minute of play. After 76 played minutes Gnesta Oilers got a freekick which was hit by Rikard Östlund. After 77 minutes, 狄弘兴 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 【AC】骑士 and the Gnesta Oilers players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Leif Martinsson fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gnesta Oilers's protests and gave Leif Martinsson a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, 顾卫彬 took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Erling Bergfelt to make any attempt to save it. Gnesta Oilers were furious when Jonny Almstedt was red carded, 86 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 【AC】骑士's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
