After 24th play minutes Marcos Maria shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Johnny Visch and just under the crossbar into goal. Marcos Maria did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Johnny Visch 29 minutes into the match. Johnny Visch was a little too slow when Marcos Maria got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 3-0. 39 minutes into the match, Phoenix Strikers's goalkeeper Johnny Visch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcos Maria. Eduard Boroș recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anton Păun to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Marcos Maria's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Johnny Visch was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Johnny Visch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Maria in the 58th minute of play. After 61 minutes of play, Phoenix Strikers's Anton Păun made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Phoenix Strikers's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduard Boroș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariano Balesio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Johnny Visch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Maria in the 72nd minute of play. ATLETICO TOSODELMA's Marcos Maria got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 78 minutes into the game, Marcos Maria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Johnny Visch was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eduard Boroș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Mariano Balesio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anton Păun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Balesio having to interfere. Anton Păun charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anton Păun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd minute, Anton Păun reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mariano Balesio. The goal made the score 4-2.
