The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Barney Garner during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jools Dickner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claes Nyberg went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Claes Nyberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tris Hurst in the 14th minute of play forced Sneaky sneeks's goalkeeper Aron Bodin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Sneaky sneeks's goal looked a bit too open when Tris Hurst came free, but Aron Bodin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aron Bodin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barney Garner, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After a rather tough play, Sneaky sneeks's Bror Tunander got a free kick in the 21st minute. After some careless play in the Sneaky sneeks defense, Walter Blakewell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aron Bodin. The Sneaky sneeks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aron Bodin should have stopped the shot. Jools Dickner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Frisk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Juventus Telford's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sven-Åke Wik was slow to take the kick. During this time Sneaky sneeks's players had a chance to rest. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Alex Larsfelt got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-1. 33 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Lars Frisk kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jools Dickner. That made the score 3-1 in the 39 minute of play. In the 44th minute Alex Larsfelt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jools Dickner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Juventus Telford's goalkeeper Jools Dickner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Larsfelt. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tris Hurst was the one to do the kick off. During the 65th minute of the match Barney Garner completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Barney Garner a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Barney Garner hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Jools Dickner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Frisk in the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Larsfelt in the 82nd minute of play forced Juventus Telford's goalkeeper Jools Dickner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juventus Telford's Jools Dickner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claes Nyberg in the 89th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Lars Frisk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jools Dickner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bror Tunander in the 93rd minute of play forced Juventus Telford's goalkeeper Jools Dickner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juventus Telford's Jools Dickner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Larsfelt in the 95th minute of play.
