Quetzal Flyers Hammers were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Sadikköy Erdoğan FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Birger Nordmark took the corner. The corner ended in Rikard Sjögren almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sadikköy Erdoğan FK's Seyfullah Uraz did a great save. Gideon Kodu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gideon Kodu might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Seyfullah Uraz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gideon Kodu ran back to his position shaking his head. When Gideon Kodu came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Quetzal Flyers Hammers fans jumped to their feet. After having played for 39 minutes, Rikard Sjögren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rikard Sjögren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sadikköy Erdoğan FK's Seyfullah Uraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Kollberg in the 41st minute of play. If Mustafa Hamit Afgan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gideon Kodu to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Sadikköy Erdoğan FK's Şakir Bozdoğan got a free kick in the 56th minute. The supporters of Sadikköy Erdoğan FK booed when Quetzal Flyers Hammers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ragnar Sundberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mustafa Hamit Afgan struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Georg Giliusson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sadikköy Erdoğan FK. İsmet Tuğtaşı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mustafa Hamit Afgan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gideon Kodu got free with Seyfullah Uraz in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th match minute, Sadikköy Erdoğan FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Yaşar Tokyay to maneuver through the defense. Gideon Kodu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Gideon Kodu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's supporters rose to their feet, but Gideon Kodu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Seyfullah Uraz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 83rd match minute, Quetzal Flyers Hammers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ragnar Sundberg to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Özden Pakkan during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 90 minutes into the game, Metin Oktay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
