In the 14th minute, Dalmacio Tuste hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, Adolfo Lauro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dario Gutierrez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermegildo Joey in the 18th minute of play. Octavio Ellande hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The supporters of Cascadia United booed when Islas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Tuste didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dalmacio Tuste kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Adolfo Lauro scored 0-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernan Rio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 34 minutes into the match, Islas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Lauro came free, but Fernan Rio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nemesio Raymond kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Octavio Ellande's late challenge caught a Islas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Octavio Ellande helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cascadia United getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Octavio Ellande hit a great ball. Cascadia United's Octavio Ellande got his second yellow card of the match in the 39th minute. The referee ordered Octavio Ellande off the ground. In the 40th match minute, Cascadia United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Ellande to maneuver through the defense. Marco Kimetz hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After having played for 47 minutes, Adolfo Lauro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cascadia United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Lauro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adolfo Lauro to make the kick off. Islas FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Adolfo Lauro scored to the left of an out of position Fernan Rio, making the score, 0-3. 55 minutes into the match, Cascadia United's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Acevedo came free, but Dario Gutierrez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernan Rio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Lauro in the 57th minute of the match. Nemesio Raymond blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernan Rio having to make a save. After 62 minutes, Efrain Ramos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cascadia United and the Islas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Islas FC booed when Cascadia United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Narciso Acevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 67 played minutes Islas FC got a freekick which was hit by Severino Joanes. 69 minutes into the match, Cascadia United's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Acevedo came free, but Dario Gutierrez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dario Gutierrez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Joey in the 73rd minute of the match. After having played for 75 minutes, Nemesio Raymond managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cascadia United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nemesio Raymond was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marco Kimetz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernan Rio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. When Teodoro Estebano fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Islas FC's protests and gave Teodoro Estebano a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Islas FC's Teodoro Estebano got a free kick in the 81st minute. 82 minutes in the game Isaac Montxo got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Islas FC's Fernan Rio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Islas FC from getting a goal against them. Marco Kimetz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Islas FC's goalkeeper Fernan Rio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adolfo Lauro in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernan Rio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ermegildo Joey took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dario Gutierrez. Dario Gutierrez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Cascadia United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
