Gavril Nicea yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omar Batistuta got free with Gavril Nicea in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carolo Baldovino struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Gavril Nicea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crosmayo FC. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Omar Batistuta took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Gavril Nicea to make any attempt to save it. Gavril Nicea was a little too slow when Omar Batistuta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 3-0. The supporters of Crosmayo FC booed when GoooooL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mateo Emesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Potocianu in the 53rd minute of the match. After 54 minutes, Juan Jerico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crosmayo FC and the GoooooL players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu, 91 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 94th minute, Luca Potocianu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Crosmayo FC's zone, Luca Potocianu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateo Emesto came out of the goal and Luca Potocianu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. GoooooL's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
