Spectators: 7490 (Terracing: 5618, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Paulo José Rocha kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, Adolfo Lauro notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of AITEC's Paulo Renato Prestes. Paulo Renato Prestes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paulo Renato Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Lauro in the 9th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in AITEC's zone, Nemesio Raymond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Renato Prestes came out of the goal and Nemesio Raymond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the match, Adolfo Lauro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo Renato Prestes. AITEC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adolfo Lauro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in AITEC's zone, Nemesio Raymond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Renato Prestes came out of the goal and Nemesio Raymond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of AITEC booed when Cascadia United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 20 minutes, Cacá Bittencourt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AITEC and the Cascadia United players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to AITEC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Cacá Bittencourt hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, Cascadia United's goalkeeper Dario Gutierrez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo José Rocha. Nemesio Raymond blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Renato Prestes having to make a save. Paulo Renato Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Raymond in the 34th minute of the match. Cascadia United's Nemesio Raymond got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adolfo Lauro to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in AITEC's zone, Nemesio Raymond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Renato Prestes came out of the goal and Nemesio Raymond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Adolfo Lauro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paulo Renato Prestes. That made the score 0-3 in the 54 minute of play. Adolfo Lauros short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Paulo Renato Prestes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Adolfo Lauro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paulo Renato Prestes. That made the score 0-4 in the 59 minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Alejo Bihar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dario Gutierrez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armandinho Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Efrain Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Paulo Renato Prestes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolfo Lauro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Paulo Renato Prestes 69 minutes into the match. Dario Gutierrez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hudson das Neves in the 72nd minute of play. In the 76th minute, Adolfo Lauro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cascadia United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. A collision led to Cascadia United getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Jesus Casomiro hit a great ball. Armandinho Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute Armandinho Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Gutierrez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Marco Kimetz fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cascadia United's protests and gave Marco Kimetz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cascadia United getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Marco Kimetz hit a great ball. If Nemesio Raymond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in AITEC's zone, Nemesio Raymond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Renato Prestes came out of the goal and Nemesio Raymond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cascadia United played a much better game than AITEC and deserved their victory. The AITEC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
