If 杨海潮 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the ≮Empire≯ 知否知否应是绿肥红瘦 defense, Ferdinand Bauer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 刘青源. The ≮Empire≯ 知否知否应是绿肥红瘦 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 刘青源 should have stopped the shot. Independiente's Brady Hooks shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper 刘青源 came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C. A. Independiente reached it. After having played for 27 minutes, 杨海潮 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ≮Empire≯ 知否知否应是绿肥红瘦's supporters crossed their fingers, but 杨海潮 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st match minute, C. A. Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steve Sharp to maneuver through the defense. When Gerry Gipson fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C. A. Independiente's protests and gave Gerry Gipson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to C. A. Independiente getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Gerry Gipson hit a great ball. 33 minutes in the game 毛泉悦 after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Cristobal Fox. A very good opportunity. Cristobal Fox made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 林宽文 in the 35th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when 杨海潮 got free with Cristobal Fox in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Sharp in the 42nd minute of play forced ≮Empire≯ 知否知否应是绿肥红瘦's goalkeeper 刘青源 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ≮Empire≯ 知否知否应是绿肥红瘦's 毛泉悦 managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Levi Clement in the 44 minute of the game. If 杨海潮 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 莫铮常 was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute 杨海潮 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Fox saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, 俞威广 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to C. A. Independiente getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Travis Cassidy hit a great ball. 康鸿桑, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 莫铮常 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Fox having to interfere. 刘青源 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Steve Sharp went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The ≮Empire≯ 知否知否应是绿肥红瘦 fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when ≮Empire≯ 知否知否应是绿肥红瘦's 杨海潮 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 82 minutes into the match, C. A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when 杨海潮 came free, but Cristobal Fox reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 俞威广 kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 郭奕建 hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. If Steve Sharp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C. A. Independiente were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
