To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the game, Joacim Bergström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Leonel Paraíba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 90th minute, Cássio Motta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. De Gröna FK's Harry Jonasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Motta in the 95th minute of play. When Joacim Bergström came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the De Gröna FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joacim Bergström couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jano Tróia during the 98th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jano Tróia hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. The De Gröna FK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing De Gröna FK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
