After a defensive mix-up in De Gröna FK's zone, Marcelinho Antunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harry Jonasson came out of the goal and Marcelinho Antunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nuno Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Folke Siöman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Walmir Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Hegg, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The supporters of De Gröna FK booed when SANTOS FC- FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Netto didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gabriel Ferm came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the De Gröna FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Ferm couldn't finish the play. Joacim Bergström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. De Gröna FK's Harry Jonasson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save De Gröna FK from getting a goal against them. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joacim Bergström to strike the kick off in the second half.
