Spectators: 7446 (Terracing: 5586, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) Gabriel Pápay started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Piet Albertus fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pheonix FC's protests and gave Piet Albertus a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pheonix FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Piet Albertus hit a great ball. In the 6th minute, Pheonix FC's Runar Hårdell seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Runar Hårdell the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pheonix FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Runar Hårdell had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Runar Hårdell hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Miroslav Kavalec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maurits Weinhardt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Pápay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Pheonix FC's Nils Taffenberg got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 15 minutes, Lukáš Sánchez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC rossoneri SENICA and the Pheonix FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nils Taffenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Anton Medlen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20 minutes, Miroslav Chovanec mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC rossoneri SENICA and the Pheonix FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC rossoneri SENICA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! Steffen Dyrehøj walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The supporters of FC rossoneri SENICA booed when Pheonix FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lejf Palmus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miroslav Chovanec made in the 34th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Richard Choreň immediately put the ball in play. Svenn Gurliph kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 44th match minute, FC rossoneri SENICA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miroslav Chovanec to maneuver through the defense. Wagner Schaumburg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Anton Medlen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Steffen Dyrehøj's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anton Medlen was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nils Taffenberg was the one to do the kick off. Maurits Weinhardt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Tirpák in the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Pheonix FC's Lejf Palmus got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute Gabriel Pápay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurits Weinhardt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC rossoneri SENICA getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Marek Pištek hit a great ball. When Nils Taffenberg came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Pheonix FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils Taffenberg couldn't finish the play. Maurits Weinhardt made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Gabriel Múdry sent off a good shot on target. Gabriel Múdry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the game, Nils Taffenberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pheonix FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC rossoneri SENICA the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Lukáš Sánchez managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC rossoneri SENICA's supporters rose to their feet, but Lukáš Sánchez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maurits Weinhardt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Many of FC rossoneri SENICA's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. FC rossoneri SENICA may have spent more time on the ball, but Pheonix FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
