When Matias Calstermans came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Lions United fans jumped to their feet. Micky Capusotto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the game, Matias Calstermans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hilario Ramos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

In the 51st minute Micky Capusotto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Izak Capellemans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Deportivo Pomelo Nenene booed when Lions United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lions United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Micky Capusotto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Matias Calstermans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Hilario Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Matias Calstermans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mitch Hollandts could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Hilario Ramos made a huge save.
