Montevideo City Torque's Zenaido Urtiaran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hannes Fernkvist in the 9th minute of play. Åhus Absolut F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Saul Sanabria scored to the left of an out of position Karl-Axel Jakobsson, making the score, 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Montevideo City Torque's goal looked a bit too open when Johnny Broman came free, but Zenaido Urtiaran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matías Longo got free with Karl-Axel Jakobsson in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th minute Ronny Åkerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenaido Urtiaran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Hannes Fernkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zenaido Urtiaran was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Åhus Absolut F.C's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Matías Longo 25 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Zenaido Urtiaran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnny Broman in the 31st minute of play. After 38 minutes of play, Åhus Absolut F.C's Ronny Åkerman made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zenaido Urtiaran was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 47th minute Johnny Broman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenaido Urtiaran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matías Longo made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Xove Bernedo made a precise shot to the right of Karl-Axel Jakobsson. Åhus Absolut F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. Montevideo City Torque's Zenaido Urtiaran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnny Broman in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of Åhus Absolut F.C booed when Montevideo City Torque was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matías Longo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 58 played minutes, Åhus Absolut F.C's Oskar Vase shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zenaido Urtiaran came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Åhus Absolut F.C reached it. Zenaido Urtiaran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnny Broman, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. When Saul Sanabria fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montevideo City Torque's protests and gave Saul Sanabria a yellow card for diving instead. Saul Sanabria hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute Hannes Fernkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenaido Urtiaran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Xove Bernedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl-Axel Jakobsson. Åhus Absolut F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xove Bernedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. Stig Haström lost his temper 77 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. A collision led to Åhus Absolut F.C getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Stig Haström hit a great ball. Karl-Axel Jakobsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matías Longo in the 78th minute of play. After 81 minutes of play, Åhus Absolut F.C's Ronny Åkerman made it 4-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zenaido Urtiaran was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Montevideo City Torque's Zenaido Urtiaran got control of the ball when Johnny Broman tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Douglas Källberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Montevideo City Torque booed when Åhus Absolut F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rasmus Haglund didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Saul Sanabria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-4. Karl-Axel Jakobsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Montevideo City Torque were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Åhus Absolut F.C for a fine match.
