An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Múdry in the 5th minute of play forced Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goalkeeper Ariel Nel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Roberto Baggio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ariel Nel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 11 minutes into the match, FC rossoneri SENICA's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Cedro came free, but Anton Medlen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roberto Baggio in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ariel Nel saved Deportivo Pomelo Nenene from getting behind. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Ariel Nel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Baggio in the 15th minute of play. Roberto Baggio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Nel having to interfere. Micky Capusotto took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anton Medlen. Anton Medlen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. With a little luck, FC rossoneri SENICA's Anton Medlen got control of the ball when Micky Capusotto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rd minute Micky Capusotto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Medlen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Micky Capusotto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Pomelo Nenene fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Anton Medlen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Micky Capusotto, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Micky Capusotto notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of FC rossoneri SENICA's Anton Medlen. Anton Medlen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th minute of the game, Cleto Indalecio landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 36 minutes into the game, Richard Choreň was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC rossoneri SENICA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Pomelo Nenene the free kick. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene made a substitution. Valentin Aureo replaced Cleto Indalecio. After 37 played minutes FC rossoneri SENICA got a freekick which was hit by Richard Choreň. Ariel Nel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Baggio in the 48th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Peter Tirpák blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ariel Nel having to make a save. After having played for 64 minutes, Gabriel Múdry managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC rossoneri SENICA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Múdry was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peter Tirpák struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Ariel Nel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC rossoneri SENICA. Micky Capusotto took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anton Medlen. Anton Medlen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. 75 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goalkeeper Ariel Nel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Múdry. Ariel Nel made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Gabriel Múdry sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of FC rossoneri SENICA booed when Deportivo Pomelo Nenene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Lluciano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roberto Baggio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Nel having to interfere. Severino Txilar hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Ariel Nel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Pomelo Nenene from getting a goal against them.
