The supporters of Sao Brasola booed when Rakkestad IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svend Phan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Alberigo Giuliani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elia Tuzzolino was the one to do the kick off. Attilio Granata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristo Kane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Halstensen in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Cai Wathne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, Sao Brasola's goalkeeper Cristo Kane had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cai Wathne. Cristo Kane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Halstensen in the 70th minute of play. Cristo Kane made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Halstensen in the 72nd minute. After a rather tough play, Sao Brasola's Pio Padre got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the game, Pio Padre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sao Brasola's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rakkestad IF the free kick. In the 75th minute, Christian Halstensen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Christian Halstensen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristo Kane. Sao Brasola's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Halstensen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. A collision led to Rakkestad IF getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Cai Wathne hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Rakkestad IF's Cristo Kane threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Otto Klepp, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as Rakkestad IF's Christian Halstensen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristo Kane. That made the score 0-4 after 96 minutes of play. Rakkestad IF played a much better game than Sao Brasola and deserved their victory. The Sao Brasola players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
