The referee ignored Rakkestad IF's protests and gave Otto Klepp a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sao Brasola booed when Rakkestad IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otto Klepp didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ludvik Veland during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Christian Halstensen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristo Kane was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 8th minute, Alberigo Giuliani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristo Kane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Halstensen in the 10th minute of play. Christian Halstensens short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Cristo Kane to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Christian Halstensen came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Rakkestad IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Halstensen couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Rakkestad IF booed when Sao Brasola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberigo Giuliani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kenneth Friis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Cristo Kane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristo Kane stood somewhat misplaced when Christian Halstensen came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 30 minute. After 33 minutes of play, Sao Brasola's Alberigo Giuliani made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carl Frigstad was left in no man's land by his defense there! Franco Papa kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sao Brasola's Anthony Tristezza got a free kick in the 40th minute. Kenneth Friis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Cristo Kane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Rakkestad IF's goal looked a bit too open when Attilio Granata came free, but Carl Frigstad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sao Brasola's Alberigo Giuliani managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Valdemar Skovly in the 46 minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alberigo Giuliani made a kick off. The supporters of Rakkestad IF booed when Sao Brasola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pio Padre didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute Kenneth Friis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristo Kane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 minutes of play, Rakkestad IF's Christian Halstensen made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristo Kane was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 71st minute, Kenneth Friis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rakkestad IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. After 74 played minutes Sao Brasola got a freekick which was hit by Filippo Mauro. 75 minutes into the match, Sao Brasola's goal looked a bit too open when Otto Klepp came free, but Cristo Kane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Valdemar Skovly in the 79th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sao Brasola's Pio Padre. Kenneth Friis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Cristo Kane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pio Padre kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Sao Brasola's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Halstensen came free, but Cristo Kane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Halstensen in the 97th minute of play forced Sao Brasola's goalkeeper Cristo Kane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sao Brasola players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rakkestad IF.
