Carlos Alberto de Amaral started the match with the kick off. Paranhos Ariranha FC's Gilmar Soeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Paranhos Ariranha FC from getting a goal against them. When Raimundo de Sousa fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paranhos Ariranha FC's protests and gave Raimundo de Sousa a yellow card for diving instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miromir Niewiadomski made a kick off. Mikolaj Anszczak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute Nilton Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikolaj Anszczak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
