With a left leg Henrik Örn saved DZ Blue from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, DZ Blue's goalkeeper Henrik Örn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ilie Dumitrescu. Ilie Dumitrescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Henrik Örn made a huge save. Andy Söderqwist hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the DZ Blue defense, Ilie Dumitrescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrik Örn. The DZ Blue fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrik Örn should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ilie Dumitrescu was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Ilie Dumitrescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in DZ Blue's zone, Ilie Dumitrescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrik Örn came out of the goal and Ilie Dumitrescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 57 played minutes, MasterBets's Cristi Chivu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Henrik Örn came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. In the 80th match minute, MasterBets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Dănășel to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of DZ Blue booed when MasterBets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Dănășel didn't get a good kick on the ball.
