A collision led to MasterBets getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Liviu Păstrăv hit a great ball. Javier Fero was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eduard Aplugăriței showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 46 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute Liviu Păstrăv shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Fero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tomás Kiliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Academia Club getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Moises Telesforo hit a great ball. Aurelian Mercescu kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Kiliz couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute, Tomás Kiliz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 92 played minutes MasterBets got a freekick which was hit by Dan Dănășel. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. MasterBets had won after a very even match.
