Caio Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrik Örn having to interfere. César Terra hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Luís Paulo da Mata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Luís Paulo da Mata sped through DZ Blue's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Henrik Örn. S S Palestra Italia's Remo da Costa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save S S Palestra Italia from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute Luís Paulo da Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrik Örn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Paulo da Mata's late challenge caught a DZ Blue's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Paulo da Mata helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th match minute, S S Palestra Italia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Paulo da Mata to maneuver through the defense. Luís Paulo da Mata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Henrik Örn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 41 in the game by Martin Juhlin from a close distance when the talented Remo da Costa managed to make a qualified save. S S Palestra Italia's players were relieved. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Luís Paulo da Mata made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, DZ Blue's Martin Juhlin made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remo da Costa was left in no man's land by his defense there! 55 minutes into the game, Luís Paulo da Mata recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Henrik Örn. Luís Paulo da Mata showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 66th minute, Caio Luz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, DZ Blue's Andy Söderqwist got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 78th minute, César Terra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrik Örn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 84th minute, Martin Juhlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caio Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Henrik Örn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Martin Juhlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remo da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. DZ Blue's Andy Söderqwist got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The S S Palestra Italia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
