An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Fraco in the 7th minute of play forced CA Boca Jrs's goalkeeper Ercole Ceresoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of CA Boca Jrs booed when Forever Tango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliciano Fraco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Javier Ritchie took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ercole Ceresoli. Ercole Ceresoli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 18 minutes into the match, Daniele Ubriaco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aristides Poncio. Forever Tango's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniele Ubriaco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Forever Tango's Aristides Poncio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Forever Tango from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Daniele Ubriaco took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Aristides Poncio to make any attempt to save it. Ercole Ceresoli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Urritz, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 42nd minute, Domenico Costacurta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Maximino Lesardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 46 minutes, Armando Garibaldi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CA Boca Jrs and the Forever Tango players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, CA Boca Jrs's Armando Garibaldi got a free kick in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dennis Tozzi made a kick off. Domingos Mino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ercole Ceresoli having to make a save. In the 70th minute, Daniele Ubriaco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aristides Poncio was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. With a little luck, CA Boca Jrs's Ercole Ceresoli got control of the ball when Maximino Lesardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 77th minute Javier Ritchie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ercole Ceresoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 played minutes CA Boca Jrs got a freekick which was hit by Armando Garibaldi. 91 minutes into the match, CA Boca Jrs's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Ritchie came free, but Ercole Ceresoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The CA Boca Jrs support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
