After 5 played minutes Altamora FC got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Calado. After 7 played minutes FC Catalonia got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Gmoch. In the 9th minute, Rui Madeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Altamora FC's Saúl Correia suffered a sore thigh after 12 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Altamora FC made a substitution. Emílio Águas replaced Saúl Correia. Radowit Gonsiewski hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, FC Catalonia's Vítor Pádua threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roch Ciempa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 19th match minute, Altamora FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Micael Cabral to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Rzeszutko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rui Madeira went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Madeira in the 26th minute of play forced FC Catalonia's goalkeeper Edgar Rzeszutko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rui Madeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Eurico Correia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgar Rzeszutko was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 32 minutes into the match, FC Catalonia's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Madeira came free, but Edgar Rzeszutko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eurico Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar Rzeszutko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Madeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Edgar Rzeszutko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eurico Correia in the 42nd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Eurico Correia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Edgar Rzeszutko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rui Madeira made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, FC Catalonia's Radowit Gonsiewski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vítor Pádua made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Emílio Águas charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emílio Águas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th match minute, Altamora FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emílio Águas to maneuver through the defense. Vítor Pádua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roch Ciempa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rui Madeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Rzeszutko having to interfere. Emílio Águas kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Vítor Pádua came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Catalonia's Igor Zbikowski. But to his dismay, Igor Zbikowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Rui Madeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Altamora FC's Eurico Correia got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th match minute, Altamora FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Micael Cabral to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Altamora FC's Xavier Estrela got a free kick in the 88th minute. A collision led to Altamora FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ademar Baía hit a great ball. Xavier Estrela kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Zula Gongola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Pádua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The FC Catalonia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Altamora FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Altamora FC.
