Gilvan Chaves scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vítor Pádua, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vítor Pádua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilvan Chaves in the 25th minute of the match. With his leg Benjamin Mazza managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Altamora FC's Rui Madeira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Caio Palma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilvan Chaves kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Vítor Pádua didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronaldo Gol went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Toninho Terra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Róbson Messias made a kick off. Benjamin Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eurico Correia in the 59th minute of the match. Rui Madeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Benjamin Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Ronaldo Gol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rockets's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldo Gol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vítor Pádua breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
