Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) Duarte de Almeida started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd match minute, Remedios SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Vítor Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. Noel Couto's late challenge caught a União dos 7 FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Noel Couto helped the player get up and apologised. Noel Couto kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Mané Almeida might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Botelho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mané Almeida ran back to his position shaking his head. Mané Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Luís Botelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Botelho came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Remedios SC's Noel Couto. But to his dismay, Noel Couto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Delfim Munhoz kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. União dos 7 FC's Luís Botelho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save União dos 7 FC from getting a goal against them. João Vítor Oliveira's late challenge caught a União dos 7 FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Vítor Oliveira helped the player get up and apologised. After 34 played minutes Remedios SC got a freekick which was hit by João Vítor Oliveira. Dinei Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Carlos Eduardo Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Vítor Oliveira kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Caio de Moraes missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 39 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Carlos Eduardo Leão right hand side. União dos 7 FC's Duarte de Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Noel Couto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Delfim Munhoz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Remedios SC and the União dos 7 FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 52 played minutes Remedios SC got a freekick which was hit by Delfim Munhoz. Duarte de Almeida received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlos Eduardo Leão came out and tried to block the shot, but Duarte de Almeida slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 54th minute. Duarte de Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Eduardo Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Saldanha in the 60th minute of play. Mané Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Eduardo Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duarte de Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Eduardo Leão was a little too slow when Duarte de Almeida got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 1-3. When Noel Couto was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 73 minutes had been played. After 74 played minutes Remedios SC got a freekick which was hit by Noel Couto. 87 minutes into the match, Joel Ortiz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Carlos Eduardo Leão, 1-4. União dos 7 FC played a much better game than Remedios SC and deserved their victory. The Remedios SC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
