After 5 played minutes ΟΦΗ got a freekick which was hit by Ilias Lazanas. 11 minutes into the game, ΟΦΗ's Fanis Kokkinopoulos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Errolan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Joaquin Errolan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fanis Kokkinopoulos in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, BulnesFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Otsando to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute Fanis Kokkinopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Errolan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Jonathan Eate put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ntinos Vlasakis. 26 minutes into the match, ΟΦΗ's goalkeeper Ntinos Vlasakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Eate. The BulnesFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Errolan should have stopped the shot. After 40 played minutes ΟΦΗ got a freekick which was hit by Fanis Kokkinopoulos. A hard shot by Filomeno Valerio from long distance, 41 minutes into the match, got Ntinos Vlasakis's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Giannis Tzanetos made a kick off. Joaquin Errolan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikos Kalkavouras in the 53rd minute of play. BulnesFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Fanis Kokkinopoulos scored to the left of an out of position Joaquin Errolan, making the score, 1-4. 57 minutes into the game, Giannis Tzanetos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joaquin Errolan. Giannis Tzanetos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Joaquin Errolan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fanis Kokkinopoulos in the 60th minute. If Ceferino Bibiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 67th minute of the match, Giannis Tzanetos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joaquin Errolan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. BulnesFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Nikos Kalkavouras 71 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-6. The audience was convinced that Giannis Tzanetos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Errolan was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. After 76 played minutes Giannis Tzanetos rounded BulnesFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-7. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind BulnesFC's goalkeeper Joaquin Errolan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Ilias Lazanas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 89 minutes into the match, BulnesFC's goalkeeper Joaquin Errolan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giannis Tzanetos. Joaquin Errolan made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Giannis Tzanetos sent off a good shot on target. Giannis Tzanetos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Joaquin Errolan made a huge save. ΟΦΗ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
