Spectators: 7477 (Terracing: 5609, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bengt-Åke Smitt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bengt-Åke Smitt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ziemowit Zajonc in the 8th minute of the match. Bengt-Åke Smitt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Nikodemski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Kwaski Sandomierz booed when Karen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred-Marc Richter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bengt-Åke Smitt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Nikodemski in the 15th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Julian Nikodemski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. The referee ignored Karen FC's protests and gave Nils Ekeroth a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Karen FC's Nils Ekeroth got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute, Julian Nikodemski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kwaski Sandomierz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Knox White during the 25th minute. In the 32nd minute Konrad Kaczor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Åke Smitt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Knox White hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Konrad Kaczor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Julian Nikodemski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute, Kwaski Sandomierz's Julian Nikodemski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. In the 59th minute Konrad Kaczor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Åke Smitt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Kwaski Sandomierz getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Wawrzyniec Zagrodny hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ziemowit Zajonc got free with Bengt-Åke Smitt in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Kwaski Sandomierz's Julian Nikodemski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bengt-Åke Smitt. That made the score 0-5 after 71 minutes of play. Teobald Jerzyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred-Marc Richter in the 77th minute of play. After 79 minutes of play, Kwaski Sandomierz's Julian Nikodemski made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bengt-Åke Smitt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bengt-Åke Smitt made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Ziemowit Zajonc sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Fred-Marc Richter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fred-Marc Richter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teobald Jerzyk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teobald Jerzyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malte Sörman in the 94th minute of play.
