But to his dismay, Sermet Akkaş quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When Ahmet Göktuğ Uğurtay fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laboon SK's protests and gave Ahmet Göktuğ Uğurtay a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, Ahmet Göktuğ Uğurtay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Öztürk Şatıroğlu fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laboon SK's protests and gave Öztürk Şatıroğlu a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 played minutes Laboon SK got a freekick which was hit by Öztürk Şatıroğlu. Ludvig Hilstad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sermet Akkaş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd match minute, Laboon SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdi Saygın İlkan to maneuver through the defense. Ludvig Hilstad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sermet Akkaş in the 25th minute of the match. With a little luck, Laboon SK's Hüseyin Can Altınpınar got control of the ball when Daniel Lundh tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Laboon SK getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Abdi Saygın İlkan hit a great ball. Hüseyin Can Altınpınar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrik Lillemo in the 41st minute. After a rather tough play, Laboon SK's Atilla Tarkan Oran got a free kick in the 44th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henrik Lillemo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ludvig Hilstad made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Sermet Akkaş sent off a good shot on target. Hüseyin Can Altınpınar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Lillemo in the 58th minute of the match. Ludvig Hilstad was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Atilla Tarkan Oran capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Atilla Tarkan Oran really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Sezgin Sadri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Gædd FK's Morten Hurlen got a free kick in the 66th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Laboon SK's Abdi Saygın İlkan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ludvig Hilstad. That made the score 1-3 after 71 minutes of play. Gædd FK's Ludvig Hilstad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sermet Akkaş in the 74th minute of play. Jan Kile took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hüseyin Can Altınpınar. Laboon SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Laboon SK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gædd FK.
