Gædd FK's Kenneth Stordahl got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kenneth Stordahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ingemar Eckegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ingemar Eckegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Lundh in the 34th minute of play. Polar Ice Caps's Ingemar Eckegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Lundh in the 40th minute of play. Gædd FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Polar Ice Caps the free kick. Sven Grønås kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Henrik Lillemo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Ingemar Eckegren made a huge save. Gædd FK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
