Henrik Lillemo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ludvig Hilstad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Placido Berenguer in the 31st minute. When Kjartan Kroken fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gædd FK's protests and gave Kjartan Kroken a yellow card for diving instead. Kjartan Kroken hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After 35th play minutes Jarle Iqbal shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Camilo Hodei and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 38th match minute, Gædd FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarle Iqbal to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Lundh charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Lundh the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th minute Alvaro Nastasio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludvig Hilstad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ludvig Hilstad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alvaro Nastasio went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Camilo Hodei was a little too slow when Henrik Lillemo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 1-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gædd FK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
