Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Deniz Hasanbeyli got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Birkan Sarik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 5th minute, Erbatur Başoğlu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Polar Ice Caps's Ingemar Eckegren didn't even have to move. Polar Ice Caps's Ingemar Eckegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deniz Hasanbeyli in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Demir Rebi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The North Port UTD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 16 played minutes Polar Ice Caps got a freekick which was hit by Wolf-Jürgen von Buol-Schaudenstein. When Patrik Rosen fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Polar Ice Caps's protests and gave Patrik Rosen a yellow card for diving instead. Patrik Rosen hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Ardahan Şenbay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ingemar Eckegren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deniz Hasanbeyli, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Birkan Sarik in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ingemar Eckegren saved Polar Ice Caps from getting behind. In the 26th minute, Demir Rebi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The North Port UTD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 29th match minute, Polar Ice Caps was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Öberg to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demir Rebi in the 32nd minute of play forced Polar Ice Caps's goalkeeper Ingemar Eckegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Polar Ice Caps's goal looked a bit too open when Demir Rebi came free, but Ingemar Eckegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 41 played minutes Polar Ice Caps got a freekick which was hit by Ernst Tingelholm. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demir Rebi in the 43rd minute of play forced Polar Ice Caps's goalkeeper Ingemar Eckegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 minutes of play, North Port UTD's Karhan Öktüre made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ingemar Eckegren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wolf-Jürgen von Buol-Schaudenstein stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Birkan Sarik hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birkan Sarik in the 57th minute of play forced Polar Ice Caps's goalkeeper Ingemar Eckegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Polar Ice Caps's Ingemar Eckegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birkan Sarik in the 59th minute of play. Deniz Hasanbeyli struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Ingemar Eckegren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for North Port UTD. After a rather tough play, Polar Ice Caps's Markus Lundström got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 68th minute, Deniz Hasanbeyli made a precise shot to the right of Ingemar Eckegren. Polar Ice Caps's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. In the 76th minute, Pär Sandström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th match minute, Polar Ice Caps was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernst Tingelholm to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Ardahan Şenbay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The North Port UTD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. 83 minutes into the game, Deniz Hasanbeyli recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ingemar Eckegren. Deniz Hasanbeyli showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. 86 minutes into the game, Karhan Öktüre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Ingemar Eckegren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 92nd minute Demir Rebi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingemar Eckegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Demir Rebi took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ingemar Eckegren. Ingemar Eckegren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. North Port UTD played a much better game than Polar Ice Caps and deserved their victory. The Polar Ice Caps players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
