FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Cristinel Tiberian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Barral in the 2nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Independente FC's Ezequiel Barral got a free kick in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Felix Chițu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nestor Quintal. Independente FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Chițu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Cristinel Tiberian had great luck who in the 24thth minute grab hold of the ball when Zé Carlos de Azevedo from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The audience was convinced that Zé Carlos de Azevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristinel Tiberian was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. When Independente FC's Zé Carlos de Azevedo in 27 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Cristinel Tiberian guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After 27 minutes, Zé Carlos de Azevedo made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Cristinel Tiberian tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Independente FC's Paulo José Veiga got a free kick in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Octav Martinaș had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nestor Quintal. Independente FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Octav Martinaș was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. A collision led to Independente FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. José Vítor Rodrigues hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Independente FC's Marcel Mendes got a free kick in the 43rd minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Vítor Rodrigues was the one to do the kick off. Cristinel Tiberian came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Independente FC's Zé Carlos de Azevedo. But to his dismay, Zé Carlos de Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After 57 played minutes Independente FC got a freekick which was hit by Inácio das Neves. In the 63rd minute, Zé Carlos de Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute, Horia Tărbac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Vítor Rodrigues in the 67th minute of play forced FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Cristinel Tiberian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristinel Tiberian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Carlos de Azevedo in the 70th minute of play. Felix Chițu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Nestor Quintal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FC PIETROSUL -MM- booed when Independente FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Carlos de Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Independente FC defense, Felix Chițu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nestor Quintal. The Independente FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nestor Quintal should have stopped the shot. Cristinel Tiberian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Vítor Rodrigues in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Barral came free, but Cristinel Tiberian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Chițu in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nestor Quintal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Independente FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ezequiel Barral hit a great ball.
