Karadeniz Özsan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stian Bjørkmo in the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's goal looked a bit too open when Stian Bjørkmo came free, but Karadeniz Özsan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 played minutes VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL got a freekick which was hit by Resul Eralkan. Torkel Aakre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Karadeniz Özsan made a huge save. Kjetil Devold could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Karadeniz Özsan made a huge save. With a little luck, VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's Karadeniz Özsan got control of the ball when Torkel Aakre tried to sneak it across the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saga TF's Kjetil Devold got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Orbay Tokcan to strike the kick off in the second half. Saga TF's Stig-Inge Langlo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by İrfan Uzsan in the 56 minute of the game. If Resul Eralkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 61 minutes into the match, Saga TF's goal looked a bit too open when Orbay Tokcan came free, but Steffen Møgster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Devlet Ulağ in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Saga TF's Julius Fardal. Stian Bjørkmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Karadeniz Özsan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julius Fardal took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karadeniz Özsan. Karadeniz Özsan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Resul Eralkan in the 74th minute of play forced Saga TF's goalkeeper Steffen Møgster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Stian Bjørkmo notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's Karadeniz Özsan. Karadeniz Özsan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
