When Elivélton Maia fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alvinegro de Tupã's protests and gave Elivélton Maia a yellow card for diving instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The wind increased when Francisco Garcia made the kick off in the second half. Hélder Trigo hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Alan Brada, 85 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 88th match minute, Alvinegro de Tupã was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Vítor de Sena to maneuver through the defense. Sidney Campidelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Brada, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Peluchita Fc played a much better game than Alvinegro de Tupã and deserved their victory. The Alvinegro de Tupã players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
