Nando Proença came out of the goal and Torbjørn Halle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Saga TF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Steffen Møgster should have stopped the shot. Kauan Lago took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Steffen Møgster. Steffen Møgster dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Torbjørn Halle made a kick off. Steffen Møgster made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Fernandinho Sergipano sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute, Fernandinho Sergipano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Steffen Møgster was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. When Douglas Severo fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xandeco FC's protests and gave Douglas Severo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Xandeco FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Douglas Severo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauan Lago in the 77th minute of play forced Saga TF's goalkeeper Steffen Møgster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Saga TF's Steffen Møgster got control of the ball when Breno Diniz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fernandinho Sergipano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal.
