When Francisco Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Alvinegro de Tupã fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Garcia couldn't finish the play. Hélder Trigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hélder Trigo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 20th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Peter Adamek was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Francisco Garcia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 28 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matej Rapoš in the 39th minute of play forced Alvinegro de Tupã's goalkeeper Arnaldo Fantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvinegro de Tupã's Hélder Trigo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 41st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Peter Adamek but with some difficulty. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Garcia made a kick off. Jozef Karas hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Gabriel Bučko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Fantini having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Elivélton Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 90 minutes, Francisco Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alvinegro de Tupã's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Garcia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alvinegro de Tupã's Arnaldo Fantini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matej Rapoš in the 92nd minute of play. With a little luck, Alvinegro de Tupã's Arnaldo Fantini got control of the ball when Gabriel Bučko tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Alvinegro de Tupã supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC XY's performance. The match ended with a win for FC XY.
