In the 27th minute, Caetano Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th match minute, Bandeca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flávio Arósio to maneuver through the defense. When Claes Wall came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Bispmotala BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claes Wall couldn't finish the play. Waldir Marquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute, Per-Olof Kjellberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kléberson Soeiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Tiago Gabriel Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rune Brandt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes in the game, Tiago Gabriel Batista fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Christer Wallgren having to interfere. Kléberson Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rune Brandt in the 55th minute of the match. A collision led to Bispmotala BK getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Stig-Åke Lundkvist hit a great ball. Bandeca FC's Fernando Banders was substituted for Caetano Azevedo. After having played for 66 minutes, Rui Gaspar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bandeca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rui Gaspar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Márcio de Salles's late challenge caught a Bispmotala BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 92 played minutes Bandeca FC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fabiano Cearense. In the 94th minute Rune Brandt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kléberson Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Per-Olof Kjellberg made a precise shot to the right of Kléberson Soeiro. Bandeca FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2.
