Spectators: 7526 (Terracing: 5645, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mark Jarud started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waldir Marquez got free with Jannich Brolyng in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Saco FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Frederick Burnell hit a great ball. Jannich Brolyng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Azevedo in the 12th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Saco FC's zone, Caetano Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jannich Brolyng came out of the goal and Caetano Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kléberson Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klas Kamming in the 17th minute of the match. Jannich Brolyng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiago Ortiz in the 21st minute. Flávio Arósio made in the 29th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Saco FC's Frederick Burnell. In the 36th minute of the match Gunther Kullmann sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kléberson Soeiro skillfully saved the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Tiago Ortiz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jannich Brolyng was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 47th minute, Bandeca FC's Tiago Ortiz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jannich Brolyng. Jannich Brolyng yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiago Ortiz was the one to do the kick off. Tiago Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jannich Brolyng having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Saco FC's Mark Jarud got a free kick in the 58th minute. Mark Jarud kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Saco FC defense, Tiago Ortiz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jannich Brolyng. The Saco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jannich Brolyng should have stopped the shot. 70 minutes into the match, Bandeca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Jarud came free, but Kléberson Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jannich Brolyng came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Bandeca FC's Tiago Ortiz. But to his dismay, Tiago Ortiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. If Tiago Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, one of Saco FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Saco FC. Jannich Brolyng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Ortiz in the 92nd minute of the match. Flávio Arósio hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After 96 played minutes Saco FC got a freekick which was hit by Frederick Burnell. When the referee ended the match the Bandeca FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
