In the 71st minute, Jose Brejnebøl reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gilson Arósio. The goal made the score 0-6. Gilson Arósio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mathies Pelvang's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. F.C. København's Lauritz Bohacek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Moreno in the 76th minute of play. After 77 played minutes Pombal 2003 F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Paulão Fonseca. With 81 minutes on the clock, Vito Luz commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card.
